FleetEurope’s new SelectPlus service offers a flexible alternative to vehicle leasing

FleetEurope, a leading independent vehicle management solutions provider, has launched a mini lease service for customers that provides a cost effective and flexible alternative to vehicle leasing.

The new SelectPlus service offers a range of vehicles to rent for 90 days or longer at highly competitive rates, starting from only £6.35 per day for a Vauxhall Corsa 1.4i ecoFLEX Design.

Unlike daily rental, customers can select a specific make and model for the full duration of the hire period. The vehicles available include small cars, estates, SUVs, executive models, plug-in hybrids and light commercial vehicles, the majority of which come fully equipped with Bluetooth connectivity and satellite navigation.

SelectPlus rates also include maintenance, 24-hour breakdown recovery, free nationwide delivery to any mainland business or home address and free collection at the end of the rental period. There are flexible mileage terms available to suit all requirements, ranging from 13,000 to 36,500 miles per annum.

Once the 90-day minimum hire period has ended the vehicle can be kept on-hire at the same low daily rate or off-hired any time at short notice, without incurring an early termination charge.

This makes SelectPlus ideal for a variety of situations where interim vehicles are required to keep employees on the road, including:

  • Temporary staff or contractors that require a vehicle for 3 months or longer.
  • A lead-in vehicle for employees awaiting delivery of a company car.
  • New employees undergoing probationary periods.
  • When vehicles are needed to meet increasing demand during seasonal or peak business periods.
  • A cost-effective alternative to an in-house pool car fleet that complies with duty of care issues.

Joe Howick, chief operating officer at FleetEurope, commented: “Our new SelectPlus service aims to bridge the gap between traditional daily rental and long-term leasing. It is the latest in a range of new rental services FleetEurope is launching to help businesses reduce their fleet expenditure.

“For added peace of mind, SelectPlus can be used in conjunction with our De-Risk service, which offers financial protection for light vehicle damage incurred during the rental period.”
